Gross Club Champion: Lamberto Guillermo and Net Club Champion Henry Balancio

Both win a trophy and have their names on a plaque added to the club perpetual trophy.  $150 + club dues paid for their next renewal.  Bert also gets his fee paid if he elects to play in the SCGA Tournament of Champions tournament.

Paul Sandler Memorial Club Championship

July 18, 2023, the Board of Directors unanimously passed a motion to rename the Club Championship.
The Paul Sandler Memorial Triple S Senior Club Championship in honor of his many contributions to the
club. Paul was the Communications Director for many years but, did much more for the Board and the
club. Paul was very dedicated to the club, and he envisioned needing more technology to make the club
more efficient and manageable for all the members.
Paul developed, maintained, and updated our website for easy access to start times, results, and
announcements to the members. Paul also created the computer programs, that we currently use for
our Home Tournaments, the Presidents Cup, and the Club Championship. He brought the club into the
21st century and we are eternally grateful for his hard work and devotion to the club. Before Paul, all was
done by hand with several people involved. You can thank him for the quick results we get each week.
Paul was very giving of his time and knowledge. He helped many members learn how best to use their
smartphones and computers. Anyone that needed assistance went to the “Computer Guy.” Paul loved a
challenge. He looked for and, asked for the club problems, that he could solve by creating or updating
the computer software.
Paul is and will continue to be missed by Triple S.
